Solinco Officially Welcomes Rajeev Ram to its Global Roster
—
Rajeev Ram, five-time doubles Grand Slam champion, is officially joining the Solinco family. Ram will endorse Solinco Tour Bite Diamond Rough, a string he’s played with on the professional tour since 2017. As the current ATP Doubles number 2, he joins an elite roster who are raising the doubles game.
“I’m excited to officially be a part of the Solinco family,” said Rajeev Ram. “Solinco products have been a staple in my game for many years, and I’m confident that I’ll continue to achieve great things with their unrivaled team support and world-class equipment.”
“Rajeev’s talent is undeniable,” said KT Kim, Solinco Director. “His record speaks for itself, but his authentic character, passion for the sport, and constant motivation to improve his game are inspiring to watch.”
Ram had his breakthrough year in singles in 2009 with an ATP 250 title in Newport. In 2016, he clinched another championship in Newport before retiring from singles competition in 2017. Almost immediately after, Ram made an impact in doubles play, claiming the Masters 1000 BNP Paribas Open title with partner and Team Solinco athlete, Raven Klassen. 2019 saw Ram capture his first grand slam in mixed doubles at the Australian Open. From 2020-2022, Ram won at least one grand slam each year; two at the Australian Open (2020, 2021) and two at the US Open (2021, 2022).
With 26 career titles, Ram is an elite doubles athlete who brings a wealth of experience to the Solinco team. In addition to Solinco Tour Bite Diamond Rough, Ram will endorse other products to represent the brand.
