JENSON BROOKSBY WINS FIRST ATP TITLE
2025 kicked off with the long-awaited comeback of Solinco’s standout player, Jenson Brooksby. And if there’s one word to sum up his season so far, it’s RESILIENCE. Just four months after returning to the tour, Brooksby delivered a thrilling run in Houston to claim his first ATP title at the U.S. Men’s Clay Court Championship, while debuting his new Solinco string setup with Mach-10.
Early signs of his return to form were evident. At Indian Wells, Brooksby notched an impressive win over top-20 player Felix Auger-Aliassime. He pushed Tommy Paul to three sets in the Dallas Open, showing flashes of the grit and tactical precision that defined his early career.
The semifinal brought another showdown with Tommy Paul, and another escape act. Despite two rain delays and a match that stretched from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM local time, Brooksby saved a match point and secured his spot in the championship.
In the final, he came out strong against Frances Tiafoe, jumping to an early lead and never letting go. Calm, locked in, and relentless, Brooksby sealed his first ATP title in commanding fashion.
Brooksby’s partnership with Solinco spans over a decade. Throughout his journey, he’s trusted a range of Solinco strings—Barb Wire, Tour Bite, Outlast, Hyper-G Round—and now, Mach-10.
Reflecting on the switch from Outlast to Mach-10, Brooksby shared:
“Honestly, I think it’s the best string I’ve used so far—it gives me easier power and noticeably less vibration on my upper body, which is exactly what I’ve been looking for. With the Mach-10, the biggest improvements have been on my serve and baseline shots. I’m getting a deeper, more penetrating ball, and it’s letting me play more offensively overall.”
With a new title, renewed momentum, and a setup that’s clearly working, Jenson Brooksby is back and playing like he never left.
Huge congratulations to Jenson on his first ATP title—Team Solinco couldn’t be prouder. The first of many to come!
