TEAM SOLINCO
Austin Krajicek
Hometown: Tampa, Florida, USA
Equipment: Tour Bite Diamond Rough
Career High Doubles Ranking: 1
The big-hitting lefty from Florida is known for his huge serve and has achieved the No. 1 ranking in ATP Doubles.
Krajicek attended Texas A&M University, where he clinched the national doubles title at the 2011 NCAA Division I Tennis Championships, etching his name in the program’s history books. He began his pro career in 2012 as a singles player. Although he managed to break into the top 100 by 2015, Krajicek found greater success in doubles.
In addition to his size and power, Krajicek is a left-handed heavy hitter, making his team more formidable for opponents. He created challenges for others to adapt to different ball angles and eliminated weaknesses found in teams with two-right-handed players.
With his focus fully on doubles tennis, Krajicek achieved an impressive record of 11 doubles titles on the ATP Tour since 2013. His partnership with Ivan Dodig in 2021 reached new heights when they won the ATP Masters 1000 at the 2023 Monte-Carlo Masters and clinched their first Grand Slam victory at the 2023 French Open. This win propelled him to the top spot in the ATP rankings as the world No. 1 in June 2023. Krajicek’s journey in tennis is not just a story of skill and victory, but a testament to his incredible work ethic and perseverance, making him one of the top doubles players in the world by more than just numbers.
