Sam Querrey reached a career-high ATP singles ranking of World No. 11 and won 10 ATP Tour singles titles during a professional career that spanned more than 15 years.


Born in San Francisco and raised in Thousand Oaks, California, Querrey turned professional in 2006. Known for his powerful serve and aggressive style of play, he became a fixture on the ATP Tour and one of the top American players of his era.


His best Grand Slam result came at Wimbledon in 2017, where he advanced to the semifinals. A year earlier, he earned one of the most notable victories of his career by defeating World No. 1 Novak Djokovic in the third round of Wimbledon. In addition to his Wimbledon semifinal run, Querrey reached the quarterfinals of Wimbledon, the US Open, and the French Open during his career. He also represented the United States in Davis Cup competition.


Following his retirement from professional tennis in 2022, Querrey has remained active in the sport through media, exhibitions, and partnerships across the tennis industry. As a Team Solinco ambassador, he continues to share his knowledge and experience with players of all levels.
